We had to put this on the blog.

I know this isn't the latest news or anything relevant to todays fighters but mma has come such a long way. Have a look at this Tae Kwon Do joker fight a wrestler and you'll know what we're talking about.

FEDOR vs SYLVIA

Finally we get to see Fedor fight a top ranked mma figher. Reports on the fight are very sketchy but the bout has been confirmed by both fighters and is rumoured to be on a HD NET FIGHTS promotion . We'll keep you posted.

Can Serra do the unthinkable again ?

The odds seemed insurmountable, the goal unattainable for the challenger at UFC 69.

Georges St-Pierre was the present and future of the UFC welterweight division one year ago. He was universally recognized as the top 170-lb fighter in the world, and among the top three in the game, pound-for-pound.

Matt Serra, on the hand, was looked at by many as a blown up lightweight who was fortunate to get a razor-close disputed decision win over Chris Lytle in The Ultimate Fighter Finale to secure his first shot at a UFC championship.

UFC 69 was supposed to be little more than the beginning of GSP’s long, successful title reign. Serra was viewed by most little more than a “mandatory defense,” a credible name that would get folks to watch but otherwise offer up little resistance for the champion.

But things are rarely as they seem inside the Octagon.

Once the action got underway, it was clear that Serra didn’t just show up in Houston, Texas for a payday. He came to win, and that is precisely what he did by technical knockout at 3:25 of the opening round.

It was by far the biggest upset of 2007.

Can Serra do it again... Who knows he definatley has the power and ground game to put St.Pierre under constant pressure but St.Pierre is so slick he is the all round mma fighter I'm going for St.Pierre by decision.
